CPW at Chaminade 2009 –The Experience!
About our New Location: Set on a scenic mountain ridge, Chaminade is a stunning retreat which commands a panoramic view of the Monterey Bay and the Santa Cruz Mountains. This is a true escape from it all and still only five minutes from golf, beaches, and downtown Santa Cruz! Of course, as always, CPW will offer outstanding and experienced talent for the workshops.
The Workshop Settings: Chaminade provides state of the art facilities which features 8-hour ergonomic conference chairs; individual lighting and temperature controls; stationary walls; tackable wall surfaces; and built-in audio-visual capabilities. Just outside the conference room door a wide variety of snacks and beverages are provided throughout the day. The meals will be served in the Sunset Dining Room, a beautiful and relaxing environment. The cuisine at Chaminade is healthy, varied and delicious.
The Accommodations: Chaminade’s contemporary Spanish décor captures the resort’s magnificent history, while granite bathrooms, rich fabrics and unique color palettes reflect the natural beauty of the California coast. The guest rooms are equipped with large work areas, two direct-line phones, high speed internet access, feather beds with down-filled duvets, Aveda bath and body lotions, microfiber bath robes, in-room safes, irons and coffee makers. Amenities include an executive fitness center, full-service spa, pool, tennis and volleyball courts. If so inclined, over three miles of hiking trails allow Workshop attendees to unwind before or after a long day of learning and photographing.
